Amber Alert issued: Three children last seen near Champaign         

[AUG. 1, 2006]  SPRINGFIELD -- At the request of the Rochester, Mich., Police Department, the Illinois Amber Alert system has been activated.

The police in Michigan have a confirmed abduction of three children. The suspect and abducted children were last seen on Interstate 57 near Champaign on Tuesday at 8:20 a.m.

• Kyle Patrick Rayburn -- 13-year-old white male, 5-foot-6, 125 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.

• Haley Collen Rayburn -- 13-year-old white female, 5-foot-6, 125 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes.

• Abigal Elise Rayburn -- 9-year-old white female, 4-foot, 60 pounds, blond hair and brown eyes.

The children were taken by Craig Allen Rayburn, a 36-year-old white male, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

The suspect is driving a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck with Michigan license plate A E D 5 0 0 9.

Anyone with information should call 911 and advise that they have an Amber Alert report for relay to the Illinois State Police.
