Zion Lutheran Scholastic Bowl team completes season

[April 22, 2013]  The Zion Lutheran Scholastic Bowl team recently finished its season of competition. The ZLS team participated in 11 matches, winning three of them. This was the first year of participation for most of the students.

Emma Ritterbush qualified for the all-tournament team at the area Lutheran Scholastic Bowl tournament in Bloomington.

Members of the team pictured are (front, from left) Emma Ritterbush, Carter Robison, Noah Butler and Will Messner; (back) Emily Messner, Ethan Goodey, Joel Robison and Greyson Rademaker.

The ZLS team was coached by head coach Barb Messner and assistant coaches Pam Fuiten and Sara Sielaff.
