Thursday morning the 4-H Beef Show opened with
the steer classes. Though numbers of kids were down, the
number of steers that marched around the arena was still
considerable.
In addition, the quality of animal was
exceptional and there were times when the judge spent several
minutes debating which animal had the slight edge over all the
others.
In the end a delighted Riley Allspach took the
grand champion slot.
