                Illinois country grain prices were 
				higher on Monday afternoon, with soybeans sharply higher. 
              
                Smaller than expected corn and 
				soybean cropestimates in Monday morning's USDA crop report led to higher 
				grain prices.
 
              
                The Illinois corn crop was 
				expected to average 165 bushels per acre, with the state's 
				soybean crop expected to yield an average of 47 bushels per 
				acre.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 6 to 8 cents higher at 5.77-6.02.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were 30 to 45 cents 
				higher at 13.03-13.56.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 7 to 8 cents higher at 5.77-6.00.  
              
                Soybean bids were 46 to 49 cents 
				higher at 13.60-13.82.
 
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 
				6 to 8 cents higher at 5.37-5.93. 
              
                Soybean bids were 36 to 43 cents 
				higher at 13.22-13.60.
 
              
                Wheat bids were mostly steady to 2
