                Illinois country grain prices were 
				higher on Thursday afternoon. 
				 
              
                Corn and soybeans were supported 
				on the prevented plantings report which was higher
				than the trade expected.  
              
                Export sales have been better than 
				average and with a drier forecast for the next ten days, the 
				momentum was higher.
					 
				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were 16 to 17 cents higher at 5.86-6.08.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were 17 to 21 cents 
				higher at 13.55-13.75.
				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were  19 to 21 cents higher at 5.90-6.17.  
              
                Soybean bids were 24 to 27 cents 
				higher at 14.00-14.19.
				 
				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 12 to 
				17 cents higher at 5.52-5.98.  
              
                Soybean bids were 22 to 25 cents 
				higher at 13.45-13.96. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 7 cents higher at 
				6.02-6.23.
