                Illinois country grain prices were 
				higher on Monday afternoon, with corn and soybean values sharply 
				higher. 
				 
              
                A drier than expected extended 
				weather forecast fueled today's rally in corn and soybean 
				futures.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 16 to 25 cents higher at 
				6.04-6.16.  
              
                Soybean bids were mostly 40 to 46 
				cents higher at 13.90-14.15.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 20 to 22 cents higher at 6.13-6.28.  
              
                Soybean bids were 41 to 44 cents 
				higher at 14.27-14.53.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 19 to 
				20 cents higher at 5.84-6.09.  
              
                Soybean bids were 35 to 44 cents 
				higher at 13.75-14.33. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 10 to 11 cents
