Dirk Behrends will cook anywhere from 1,500
to 1,800 chops over the next few days. Nancy Behrends (sitting, in the
green shirt) ordered a whole truckload of chops to satisfy the
demand and keep son Dirk busy. Next to Nancy is Janet Zimmer, in the
light blue shirt, another key coordinator of the festival.

And once you know your way to Delavan, you'll want to come back for
the downtown experience. The main drag, not far from the festival, is
looking classy with new pavement, redeveloped streetscape, and offers
several upscale places to dine and enjoy entertainment. |
