            BLOOMINGTON — The Illinois Farm
Bureau will donate $10,000 toward disaster relief for Illinois
communities affected by the Nov. 17 tornadoes. |

            | Illinois Farm Bureau President Philip Nelson said the donation will
help provide food, clothing and any other necessary supplies for
families in Washington, Brookport, Gifford and other communities
affected by the rare tornado outbreak this fall. "We're pleased to be able to make this donation to communities
across the state devastated by the tornadoes earlier this month,"
Nelson said. "We know it's difficult for so many families,
especially with the holidays approaching, and it's our hope this
donation will be useful for those left with so little." The board voted unanimously during its regularly scheduled
meeting Nov. 20-22 to make the donation.
