[December 04, 2013]      Send a link to a friend Tuesday evening, on a night
that was unseasonably warm and with a light fog hanging in the air,
several gathered on the patio of Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
to remember loved ones who are with them no more. Guests first gathered outside
the Woods Cafe in the hospital. At 5:30 the doors to the
east patio were opened, and as guests moved outside, they had their
candles lit by hospital director Dolan Dalpoas with assistance from
Deron Powell. Outside, ALMH Auxilian Linda
McCuan sang Christmas hymns as the group gathered. After a few songs, ALMH
Chaplain Robert Henderson opened the service with prayer.
