[December 09, 2013]      Send a link to a friend The Armbruster home also
features large windows that look out across the golf course. The lovely view from the dining area includes a creek and two wooden bridges. The Christmas decor on the
main floor is a combination of rustic and whimsy as a number of
Christmas trees are used in the open floor plan kitchen, dining and
living area, with accents of snowmen and Santas throughout. Another tree is the focal
point of the private office just off the kitchen. Also in that
room is a special antique piano. Atop the piano is a Nativity
			scene
hand-painted by Kay Armbruster. The basement of the home is
also special in that a happy accident has added a taste of nature to
the concrete floors. From the tour brochure:
			As the concrete was
poured in the fall of 2007 as the house was built, the leaves from
the beautiful trees surrounding the house left, in the concrete, a
delightful impression. We decided to stain the basement floor and
leave it bare so that the leaf pattern can still be seen today.
