Between now and the end of the year, LDN is offering the year in review in Top Stories from 2013 as well as a large selection of photos. This photo above, for example, is of Jim and Nancy Ireland at the pilots' parade at this year's Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival. The Irelands, who are popular local pilots, were the grand marshals this year. They rode in the parade, plus participated in three ribbon-cuts for the festival and, of course, flew their beautiful balloon. Be sure to check out the stories of the year, Part 2, as well as today's grouping of photos from this year, in today's Top Stories section.
