The Logan County Animal Rescue is a
not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works to preserve the
life of animals in need. Animals are taken in on a temporary basis.
They may be reclaimed by their owners, or they may have to be taken
to a no-kill shelter, hopefully to be adopted.

Diners go through the line while volunteers
			fill their plates
 | For a price of only $8, guests definitely got
			their money's worth.

            | This young volunteer seemed to be hiding from
the camera, but we took her picture anyway.
 | Talking with the residents, many of them say
they enjoy having the fundraisers at Friendship Manor because
sometimes they reconnect with an old friend who just happens to drop
			in.

            | It's surprising sometimes the people you'll come
across at a fundraiser. Don Peasley at this table....
 | ... and Becky Werth at this one.

			 | By 11:30 the dining room was
filling nicely. In addition to dine-in, there was a carryout
option that several were taking advantage of. |
