			 Of
			the 11 events LCHS entered, 10 will move on to sectional competition
			Saturday in Charleston. Additional finalists were senior Sara Shane, third in oratorical
			declamation and fourth in radio speaking; senior Tegan Follis,
			fourth in poetry reading and fifth in dramatic interpretation;
			junior Madison Bishop, third in original comedy and fourth in
			impromptu speaking; senior Jacqueline Keysear, fourth in original
			oratory; and senior Kendall Katz, third in humorous interpretation. Also placing at the regional was junior Konnor Browne, fifth in
			prose reading. "The kids have worked very hard this week, improving and
			preparing for sectional competition," said head coach Jennifer
			Keith. "The top 72 of each event perform at six sectionals across the
			state this Saturday," she continued, "and the top 18 from there will
			move forward to Peoria next weekend. "We'd love to have a great group of students move forward."
