			 The
Lincoln Community High School FFA had a pancake and sausage
breakfast in the LCHS cafeteria Sunday morning. By the time the live
auction started at 10 a.m., the cafeteria was completely full of
			people supporting the chapter.
The reason for the event was to raise money
for projects of the local FFA chapter and to provide a scholarship
for one member each year to attend college.
Seth Unger, FFA president, commented: "There are 60 FFA members at
LCHS and over 200 students enrolled in the agriculture classes."

First-year faculty adviser Dr. Penny Wittler is excited about the
prospect of being a part of the organization. "I just love the kids
and the FFA program. This is a really terrific organization and the
			students are wonderful," she said.

Betsy Pech, faculty adviser of the Hartsburg High School FFA, was in attendance to show her support for the Lincoln fundraiser.
She mentioned that "this week is National FFA Week."

The LCHS FFA wanted to send special thanks to Dave Conrady
for donating the pork for the event.
