				Illinois country grain prices were 
				lower on Wednesday afternoon. 
				 
              
				Technical selling and profit 
				taking by traders weighed on grain prices. 
				 
              
				An improved chance of rain for the 
				South American soybean crop helped to push soybean values lower.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were 8 cents lower at 7.04-7.27.  
              
				Soybean bids were 14 to 15 cents 
				lower at 14.26-14.46.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 7 to 8 cents lower at 7.14-7.32.  
              
				Soybean bids were 12 to 16 cents 
				lowerat 14.42-14.53.
 
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 7 
				cents lower at 7.09-7.46.  
              
				Soybean bids were 15 cents lower 
				at 14.57-14.72. 
				 
              
				Wheat bids were 2 to 4 cents lower
