Hartem FFA extends deadline for consignment auction

[January 24, 2013]  HARTSBURG -- The Hartsburg-Emden FFA is looking for consignment items for their annual auction in March. The auction is planned for March 9, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Orvil Township machine shed.

The group has been collecting items for the auction since before Christmas, but they could still use more, so they have extended their deadline for submissions to March 1 from the original date of Jan. 10.

Anyone who has items they would like to put on the auction block for a good cause can contact ag teacher and FFA leader Betsy Pech at [e-mail] or 642-5244 or Nic Coers at [e-mail] or 376-3157.

Suggested items to consign for the auction include farm equipment, household items, firearms, tools and miscellaneous other items.

The annual auction raises funds to support the Hartem FFA chapter events and activities.
