                Illinois country grain prices were 
				mostly lower on Monday afternoon, with corn futures sharply 
				lower. 
				 
              
                Corn futures fell weakened by 
				technical trading at the Board of Trade. 
				 
              
                Soybeans ended higher supported by 
				the strength in the cash markets. 
				 
              
                The Crop Condition report, 
				released by the National Ag Statistics Service, indicated 
				soybean planting had now reached 97% done. 
				 
              
                The condition of the Illinois corn 
				crop improved to 69% in the good to excellent range, up 20% from 
				last week. 
				 
              
                The state's soybean crop improved 
				to 72% good to excellent, up 3% from last week.
 In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were 15 to 25 cents lower at 6.42-6.52.
 
              
                Soybean bids were 10 to 14 cents 
				lower at 15.45-15.59.
 In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 36 to 45 cents lower at 6.45-6.69.
 
              
                Soybean bids were steady to 5 
				cents higher at 15.60-15.76 
 In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 
				36 to 55 cents lower at 6.35-6.67.
 
              
                Soybean bids were mostly 6 to 9
