Saturday, in spite of a few
raindrops, volunteers from Open Arms Fellowship were set up in the
parking lot of Anytime Fitness, washing cars. The car wash was
one of the fundraisers for the Family Fun Day event
July 20 in Scully Park.
Each year the church sponsors
a day of activities, live music and of course free food for the
community. Everyone is welcome to attend Family Fun Day.
Representatives from social service agencies
will also be on hand that day
to offer information to families in need about services that are
available in Lincoln and Logan County.
In addition, the Logan County
Food Pantry will pass out groceries and accept
donations of nonperishable food items.
