                Illinois country grain prices were 
				mixed on Wednesday afternoon, with corn closing higher and 
				soybeans and wheat lower. 
              
                Technical trading at the Board of 
				Trade weakened soybean futures. 
				 
              
                Trading was at a slower pace as 
				many traders wanted to even positions ahead of Thursday's 
				release of a new Supply Demand forecast from the USDA.
 
				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 2 to 4 cents higher at 6.81-6.99.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were mixed at 
				15.62-15.86.
 
				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 5 to 6 cents higher at 6.89-7.15.  
              
                Soybean bids were 3 to 6 cents 
				lower at 15.96-16.15.
 
 
				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly 
				2 cents higher at 6.72-6.97.  
              
                Soybean bids were 2 to 3 cents 
				lower at 16.03-16.35. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 1 to 6 cents 
				higher at 6.54-6.69.
