											JeffStreet Christian Church
											Launches its

											First Ever Family Vacation Bible
											School

More than 50 volunteers have come
											together to prepare for JeffStreet’s
											adventurous, fun, first ever Family
											Vacation Bible School. JeffStreet
											hosts this volunteer-driven,
											non-profit outreach event at its
											church campus in Lincoln.
This year’s theme is “The Walking
Dead: Come Forth” – a theme that
											boldly and enthusiastically conveys
that we are NEW and that God has a
plan and unique purpose for each and
every person. Families of all sizes,
											types, ages, and stages participate
											in numerous fun events and
											activities throughout each evening.
Some of the highlights of the
adventure are a live band, a large
group games area and lending a
helping hand back to the community.

“In our area families have a lot of
summer VBS options to choose from.
What makes ours unique – in addition
to all the fun – is that there’s an
equal emphasis on helping the kids
											build a spiritual foundation and
											being WITH their family. Our
											activities, caring volunteers and
continual fun, can be a positive
											life-changing experience for all
											involved,” said Laura Moore,
											director of the Vacation Bible
											School.

 For children whose parents cannot
											attend several volunteers will step
in as “Foster Families” for this
											3-day event. All are welcome!

 The VBS experience begins July
21st and runs through July 23rd from
