District 27 registration Aug 5; school starts Aug. 26

[July 25, 2013]  Opening day for Lincoln Elementary School District 27 has been scheduled for Aug. 26. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are to report to their respective schools at 8:30 a.m. on opening day. Lincoln Junior High students, grade six to eight, are to report at 8:15 a.m. School will be dismissed for kindergarten through eighth grade at 1:30 p.m. at all buildings in the district on the first day.

Most students in the district registered in April. Those who did not return registration papers then are asked to register at their schools on Aug. 5 between 8 and 4 p.m.

Registration fees for the 2013-14 school year are as follows:

• Kindergarten, $48

• Grades one through eight, $65
