                Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Monday afternoon, with soybeans and wheat higher and
				corn lower.

Good demand for soybean meal and
stronger soybean meal values helped to lift soybean prices.

                As expected Illinois farmers made
very little progress with planting last week. According to the
National Ag Statistics Service, 91% of the Illinois corn crop
had been planted, compared to 89% last week.

                Illinois farmers had completed 49%
of their soybean planting, compared to 40% lastweek.

shelled corn bids were 6 to 11 cents lower at 6.83-6.99.

				higher at 15.27-15.42.
