Logan County Arts hosts 'Pick-N-Pay' fundraiser

[June 07, 2013]  Logan County Arts will host a special "Pick-N-Pay" event Saturday, June 8, during the Cruise into Main Street 5K Run and Health Expo. The fundraiser will begin at 11 a.m. at the Lincoln Art Institute, 112 S. McLean, next to the post office.

The concept is simple. Members have donated drawings and paintings, and there will be a donation jar. You walk in, choose a piece you like, put your donation in the jar, and the art is yours. No questions asked. Suggested minimum donation is only $5.

This is a great opportunity to purchase original pieces done by local artists, so be sure to stop by and see what’s available. The Art Institute, on the square, will be open 'til the music stops playing.

All proceeds go to Logan County Arts, an organization of local artists who are working toward raising awareness of the arts in Logan County through shows and fundraisers such as this.
