All the runners received gold coins for
breakfast at the Oasis. Others could purchase breakfast if
they wished.
With the race over and tummies full the day
was far from over. Tables were brought out on Kickapoo Street
and live music continued throughout the day and into the evening.
Local stores were open for shoppers, and those in attendance were
encouraged to have dinner at the downtown restaurants.
