The audience was moved when Nicole Lee had her co-chairs cut off her long, brown hair. The ponytail, which measured over a foot long, will be donated to Locks of Love.

Master of ceremonies Steve Sauer then introduced this year's honorary co-chairs, Robin Ingram and Bill Post. They then led the first lap of the evening, the survivors lap.
