                Illinois country grain prices were 
				mixed on Monday afternoon. 
 				Corn futures ended higher supported by strong cash basis levels 
				and an increase in export interest.  
              
                Monday's Crop Condition report 
				from the National Ag Statistics Service indicated that US 
				farmers now had 85% of the soybean crop planted compared to 71% 
				last week and 91% for the five year average. 
              
                Illinois producers made great 
				progress reaching 90% complete, compared to 62% last week and 
				87% for the five year average. 
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 13 to 14 cents higher at 
				6.97-7.18.  
              
                Soybean bids were mostly 2 to 4 
				cents lower at 15.08-15.19.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 13 to 14 cents higher at 6.91-7.08.  
              
                Soybean bids were 1 to 5 cents 
				lower at 15.35-15.50.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 13 to 
				14 cents higher at 6.94-7.19.  
              
                Soybean bids were 2 to 4 cents 
				lower at 15.28-15.61. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were steady to 4 cents
