| A social media campaign garnered enough votes to win a $25,000
grant, which was matched by a $25,000 donation from the GameTime
playground equipment manufacturer. Wurth Trucking contributed to
the project by transporting the equipment from Alabama. The Atlanta Park Board members and community volunteers labored
for three weeks in March to prepare the ground and assemble the
equipment. State Rep. Rich Brauer attended the debut celebration, noting the
hard work by volunteers. "This is a perfect example of what volunteers can accomplish for
a community to improve the quality of life," Brauer said.
