Important dates for spring election

[March 04, 2013]  The following election-related dates for spring 2013 are provided by Sally J. Litterly, Logan County clerk and recorder:

• First day to request an absentee ballot: Thursday, Feb. 28

• First day to vote absentee in person: Friday, March 15

• Last day to register to vote: Tuesday, March 12

• Grace-period registration and voting in the county clerk's office: Wednesday, March 13

• First day to early vote: Monday, March 25

• Last day to receive/send absentee application by mail: Thursday, April 4

• Last day for grace-period registration and grace and early voting in the county clerk's office: Saturday, April 6

• Election day: Tuesday, April 9
