            Savas, Landwehr lead ISU to doubleheader sweep of Bowling Green

-- Jack Landwehr threw four scoreless innings in his first college start 
		as Illinois State (8-9, 0-0 MVC) defeated Bowling Green (4-11, 0-0 MAC) 
		5-0 in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Corn 
		Crib in Normal. Dan Savas fired a complete-game victory in a 
		seven-inning game earlier in the day, guiding the Redbirds to a 3-1 
		victory. | 
		
            |  Savas (2-0) earned his first career complete-game victory, allowing 
			only one unearned run on one hit. He struck out six and walked 
			three. Home runs from Zac Johnson and Brett Kay powered the offense. 
			Freshman Matt Krenz added one RBI as the Redbirds never trailed. 
			Bowling Green starter Mike Frank (0-3) was handed the complete-game 
			loss. He allowed three earned runs on five hits and struck out five. 
			In the second game, Landwehr (2-0) worked four scoreless innings but 
			qualified for the win because of a predetermined pitch count. He 
			allowed one hit and struck out two, firing 52 pitches in the win. 
			Otto Roberts worked three scoreless innings, scattering five hits 
			with one strikeout. Jeremy Rhoades pitched a scoreless eighth inning 
			with one strikeout and two walks. Chris Razo allowed one hit in a 
			scoreless ninth inning as Illinois State completed its first shutout 
			since blanking Western Illinois 1-0 on May 11, 2012.

		 Kyle Stanton's RBI double in the first inning scored Chad Hinshaw to give ISU an early 1-0 lead. Jack Czeszewski drove 
				home one run on a groundout in the second inning, putting 
				Illinois State in front 2-0. Zac Johnson added a run-scoring 
				single in the fourth inning, plating Stanton. Freshman Daniel Dwyer launched his first career home run, a 
			towering blast over the fence in right field, extending the Redbird 
			lead to 5-0 in the fourth inning. Starting pitcher Brett Fitzwater 
			(1-1) faced one more batter before leaving the game for good. The four-game series was scheduled to conclude Sunday afternoon 
			at the Corn Crib, with Brad Sorkin (3-1, 4.30 ERA) facing Trevor 
			Blaylock (0-3, 6.43). (See game
