 				Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon, with wheat higher and corn and
				soybeans lower.

Wheat drew strength from the cold
and wet weather forecast for the western Plains states.

                Corn futures were weakened by
technical trading at the Board of Trade. In the cash markets,
the cash soybean processor basis remained firm, with increases
of 5 to 10 cents noted at many locations.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were down 4 to 7 cents at 6.75-6.88.

Soybean bids were mostly 8 to 12
				cents lower at 14.57-14.67.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 10 cents lower at 6.68-6.82.

Soybean bids 7 to 10 cents lower
				at 14.74-14.89.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
				6 to 10 cents lower at 6.58-6.93.

Soybean bids were mostly 4 to 10
cents lower at 14.79-14.99. Wheat bids were 6 to 11 cents higher
				at 7.11-7.31.
