                Illinois country grain prices were 
				lower on Wednesday afternoon, with soybean futures sharply 
				lower. 
				 
              
                Technical trading at the Board of 
				Trade helped to push grain futures lower. 
				 
              
                Sharply lower soybean meal values 
				also weakened prices.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were down 3 to 6 cents at 6.69-6.85.  
              
                Soybean bids were 30 to 38 cents 
				lower at 14.19-14.37.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were steady to 3 cents lower at 6.65-6.82.  
              
                Soybean bids 27 to 31 cents lower 
				at 14.43-14.62.
 
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mixed 
				at 6.59-6.87. 
              
                Soybean bids were 35 to 40 cents 
				lower at 14.44-14.58. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 11 to 15 cents 
				lower at 7.00-7.16.
