This year there were 11
nominees for the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce Office
Professional of the Year. Nominees and their employers were
Candy Brown, Graue Inc.; Judy Busby, Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital; Kim Coers, Lincoln Christian University;
Angie Ford, Integrity Data; Susan Gehlbach, city of
Lincoln, clerk's office; Annetta Green, Frontier Mutual
Insurance; Cheryl Hedrick, Logan County Emergency Management
Agency; Becky Heyen, The Courier; Brenda McCabe,
Lincoln Police Department; Angie Mahler, The Christian
Village; and Alice Turner, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The day began just before noon
at the Knights of Columbus with a luncheon catered by Guzzardo's
and ended with Brenda McCabe being named as the Office
Professional of the Year. McCabe is a 33-year employee of the
city of Lincoln. She has spent the last couple of years as
administrative assistant to the Lincoln Police Department. McCabe was nominated by Chief Ken Greenslate.
