Anyone who has spent any time at all with Ron Keller, director of the Lincoln Heritage Museum, has surely heard him say; "Our museum is awesome!" Well, not that we ever doubted him, but now he has proof. The museum was recently named one of the top 30 university museums in the world. Read more about this in the story below.

Tuesday afternoon Elkhart's Talk of the Town restaurant was the place to be for bingo lovers. The first Tuesday of each month the Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield hosts a community bingo day for all seniors. Any senior age 55 and older is invited to join in. The games begin at 2 p.m.

LDN - Entertainment

A copy of the book by first lady Michelle Obama, "American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Garden Across America." Mrs. Obama signed copies of her book at the Politics & Prose bookstore in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday.

Customers were required to pre-order one copy only of the $30 book last week, then return Tuesday morning with the receipt and a government-issued ID to receive a color-coded wristband that would allow them into the signing. They also had to pass a Secret Service background check.

The Lincoln Railer baseball team played Normal University High at the ISU baseball stadium Monday night. Great game, but unfortunately the Railers were defeated 4-3. University High scored the fourth run in the bottom of the seventh inning, as Tyler Horchem threw a strike to home from left field. The ball beat the runner to the plate, and Cody Heidbreder appeared to have applied in time. The runner was called safe by the home plate umpire.
