Illini Central announces April Student of the Month Conner Martin

[May 13, 2013]  MASON CITY -- The 1st State Bank of Mason City and Illini Central High School presented Conner Martin with the April Student of the Month Award. For demonstrating outstanding character, Conner receives a Barnes & Noble gift card from 1st State Bank and an iTunes gift card from the Illini Central High School faculty.

Conner is the son of Rick and Donette Martin. His classes this year are Psychology, Small Engines, Literature and Film, and Physical Education. He is also an office aide.

In addition, he participates in several extracurricular activities. He is a member of the basketball team, Future Farmers of America, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of American.

Conner plans to join the Navy and attend Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training.
