After a solemn and emotional Memorial Day
service, the crowd at the American Legion Post 263 took on a happier
perspective as many stayed to enjoy a ham and bean lunch.
There were several who got in line right away
for some delicious food, but others found that more important than
eating was a chance to spend time with old friends and fellow
veterans.
