In December of 2011, it was a pleasant
surprise to learn that local businessman David Lanterman had
purchased two derelict houses on Pulaski Street and had plans to
restore what the community often called the "twin sisters." It looked like a formidable
job at the time, but the building trades class at Lincoln Community High School
got involved with the first house, and this week Lanterman said
sister one is almost ready for new tenants. Sister  two is still under construction. Right now
a new roof is being installed to protect the interior of the
			building through this winter.
