Brett Borst, the owner-manager
of the Bonanza, said he was very happy to have the Scouts there.
This is something he has hoped for, and he thought it was more
than fitting that some of our country's finest young men were
offering something special to some of our country's heroes.
Around the restaurant, several
veterans enjoyed the pampered service and the fantastic meal
provided. At some tables, friends sat together enjoying a time
of visiting and reminiscing over their days in the service. At
other tables, there were generations sitting together, some military,
some not, but all enjoying a day that has been set aside to honor
those who have served our country without reservation, so that all
may enjoy the freedom we have.
