LC's Simpson named NJCAA Player of the Week

[November 16, 2013]  Aaron Simpson, 5-foot-10 guard from North Chicago, was named the NJCAA National Player of the Week for Nov. 1-10 to start the season.

Simpson opened the season with a 40-point effort against No. 2-ranked DI Indian Hills and followed that game with a 40-point effort the following night against William Penn. Simpson is averaging 33.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists during this week to help him earn this honor.

The Lynx are back in action this weekend as they host the Lincoln College Classic at the Jack D. Nutt Arena.
