Hartsburg-Emden FFA recognized as 3-star chapter

[November 15, 2013]  HARTSBURG — The Hartsburg-Emden FFA chapter was recognized as a 3-star chapter in the National Chapter Award program sponsored by John Deere. The Hartem FFA was presented the award recently at the 86th National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky.

In order to qualify for this award, chapters must first receive a Gold Chapter Award on the state level. The National Chapter Award program, also called Program of Activities, is built around three major divisions — student development, chapter development and community development. The purpose of this program is to encourage chapters to develop and use a program of activities.
