[October 15, 2013]      Send a link to a friend Saturday morning Chris Graue
of Graue Chevrolet was a busy guy, handing out money for worthy
causes in the city of Lincoln.  He began his day presenting a
check for $500 to the Lincoln YMCA, then immediately moved to City
Hall, where he helped promote a fundraiser for the Lincoln Fire
Department. Graue Chevrolet brought a half-dozen new vehicles to
City Hall along with a group of sales staff,
and throughout the morning allowed folks to take a test drive around
town to earn money for the fire department. By the end of the day, 26
people had stopped by to drive one of the vehicles. At $20 per
test drive, this brought in $520 for the fire department. However, Monday morning Chris Graue said that the corporate ad group
allows for up to $1,000 in donations for the fundraiser, so the city
fire department will receive a check for that amount. The money will be used by the
department to purchase mandated safety gear for the firefighters,
			namely, helmets, hoods and gloves.
