            LCHS swim team takes 2nd in quad meet

            [October 17, 2013] 
            The Lady Railers had a close 
			second-place finish Tuesday night as girls from Lincoln, Charleston, 
			Olympia and Southeast high schools competed in a quad swim meet. The 
			team scores were Charleston 144, Lincoln, 139, Olympia 103 and 
			Southeast 81.  | 
		
            |  The meet started off with the 200 medley relay of Madi Ewald, Caitlin 
			Williams, Rachel Stein and Lexy Lanning taking first place 
			(2:09.89). Regan Dahm and Danielle Burgrabe took second (2:30.0) 
			and third (2:37.26) respectively in the 200 freestyle. Lanning took first place in the 50 freestyle (27.55) and a close 
			second place in the 100 freestyle (1:03.96). Stein and Burgrabe had a great finish in diving, taking first 
			(156.85 points) and third places (93.75 points) respectively. 
			Danielle also took third place in the 100 breaststroke (1:27.52).

		 Ewald took first place in the 100 butterfly (1:05.21) and 500 
				freestyle. The 200 freestyle relay of Ewald, Williams, Stein and Lanning was 
			just touched out at the wall to take second place (1:55.97). Hailie Williams had a great swim, taking third in the 100 
			backstroke (1:23.63).
