 The seventh-grade Lady Wolverines fell to Springfield Christ the King
by a score of 33-15. The seventh-grade Wolverines were led in
scoring by Leah Schneider with seven, and Emma Konczyk and Molly
Sawicki added four points each. Schneider also contributed on the
boards with six while Konczyk grabbed five. Paige Langley scooped up
five steals to help the Lady Wolverines on defense. With this loss
the seventh grade Lady Wolverines are now 3-1.The eighth-grade
Lady Wolverines took the floor in storm as they defeated the Christ
the King Cougars by a score of 42-23. Kaelyn Froebe led all scoring
with 15 points as Kennedy Lolling added six and Emerie Wieber and
Emma Konczyk both had five points. Ali Wilson led in rebounding with
five boards. On the defensive side, Froebe and Morgan Lolling both
had five steals. With the win the eighth-grade Lady Wolverines are
7-1.

Thursday night the Wolverines traveled to Mount Pulaski. The
seventh-grade Lady Wolverines were defeated by a score of 50-27.
Leah Schneider led the Wolverines with 10 points as Emma Konczyk
added eight, Paige Langley scored four and Morgan Mollohan
contributed with three. Schneider also led in rebounding with 10
boards as Konczyk picked up seven steals. With this loss the
seventh-grade Lady Wolverines are now 3-2.
The eighth-grade Lady Wolverines defeated the Honeybears by a
score of 48-20. Kaelyn Froebe led all scoring with 22 points.
Kennedy Lolling added nine and Morgan Lolling added six more points.
Froebe led in rebounds with six as Emerie Wieber grabbed five.
Froebe and Morgan Lolling grabbed 10 steals each. With this win the
eighth-grade Lady Wolverines are now 8-1.
The Lady Wolverines will be back in action on Tuesday at Illini
Central.
