Location: North Union Street at Woodlawn Road

Drivers and vehicles:

  • Davis, Eric Michael, 23; 2006 Ford F150 Series

  • Coffey, Michael A., 31; 2005 Chevrolet Impala

Citation: Davis was ticketed for disobeying traffic device and driving with suspended or revoked license.

Aug. 29, 12:32 p.m.

Location: South Sherman at Willard Avenue

Drivers and vehicles:

  • Morrow, Peggy, 49; 2011 Honda Odyssey

  • Underage driver

Citation: Morrow was ticketed for failing to yield on a private road or driveway.

Aug. 30, 12:00 a.m.

Location: New Union Cemetery

Driver and vehicle:

  • Tungate, Crystal A., 29; 2000 Pontiac Sunfire

Damage to a tree at New Union Cemetery

Contributing factors: failing to reduce speed and had been drinking

Citation: Tungate was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions/failure to reduce speed and leaving the scene of an accident.

Location: Wyatt Avenue at South Butler Street

  • Licensed driver under the age of 18

  • Sampson, Halen Scott, 19; 2012 Ford Escape owned by Diane L. Stephenson

Citation: Underage driver was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, failure to reduce speed.

Lincoln Police Department

  • Cox, Charles S., 26, of Lincoln, arrested Aug. 30 in the 100 block of Centennial Courts on charge of criminal trespass to state land. 

  • Copper, Derek I., 40, of Lincoln, arrested Aug. 30 at his residence on charge of battery. 

  • Mbaye, Alioune, 21, of Chicago, arrested Aug. 31 in the 800 block of Malerich Drive on charge of retail theft.

Logan County Sheriff's Department

  • Bowles, Ronald L., 43, of Lincoln, arrested Aug. 30 at his residence on Logan County warrant. 

  • Cole, Joshua L., 24, of Mason City, arrested Aug. 30 at the Logan County Safety Complex on DeWitt County warrant.

  • Snyder, Clinton R., 38, of Lincoln, arrested Aug. 30 at the Logan County Safety Complex on charges of unlawful use of weapon and aggravated assault.

Illinois State Police

  • Ho, Chau H., 34, of Springfield, Mo., arrested 31 on Interstate 55 on charge of driving with a suspended license.

Atlanta, Elkhart, Mount Pulaski, San Jose, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois State Police
