                Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Thursday afternoon, with soybean futures higher and
				corn and wheat futures lower.

Technical buying at the Board of
Trade, stronger soybean meal values and a firm cash soybean
				market strengthened soybean prices.

In the cash markets, the cash corn
basis ended sharply lower at many Illinois Corn Processors, with
losses of 20 to 30 cents noted.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were mostly 29 to 34 cents lower at 5.11-5.41.

Soybean bids were up 5 to 15 cents
				at 14.35-14.57.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 18 to 24 cents lower at 5.26-5.66.

Soybean bids were 10 to 12 cents
				higher at 14.86-15.07.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were down
				18 to 30 cents at 4.80-5.36.

Soybean bids were mostly 15 cents
				higher at 14.20-14.47.

Wheat bids were mostly 6 to 11
				cents lower at 5.93-6.08.
