                Illinois country grain prices were 
				lower on Monday afternoon. 
				 
              
                Trading activity was slower on 
				Monday at the Board of Trade. 
				 
              
                The warm and dry weekend did not 
				support higher prices on Monday. 
				 
              
                In the cash markets the cash corn 
				and soybean basis weakened on Monday at many processors, with 
				losses of 15 to 30 cents noted.
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 15 to 32 cents lower at 4.61-5.08.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were 20 to 42 cents 
				lower at 13.86-14.46.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were 43 to 55 cents lower at 4.82-5.20.  
              
                Soybean bids were 18 to 26 cents 
				lower at 14.31-14.76.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 16 to 
				20 cents lower at 4.73-5.09.  
              
                Soybean bids were mostly 10 to 13 
				cents lower at 14.15-14.37. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were down mostly 6 to 7
