            [September 12, 2013]
            GREENVILLE -- The Lincoln
Christian University volleyball team went on their first true road test
of the season Tuesday night as they traveled to Greenville College. It
was not LCU's night, however, as Greenville won in three straight sets. |

            | The set scores began ugly but got better as the match went on. LCU
(7-2) lost three sets with scores of 10-25, 19-25 and 23-25. In the
first set, LCU failed to work off their road game jitters as they
made various errors and misreads throughout the set. After the first
set, LCU showed more fight, but it was a little too late, as GC's
crowd was into the game and providing a distraction for the visiting
Red Lions. Junior outside hitter Alicia Carson (Nobles, Mich./Bloomingdale
High) led the way for LCU as she recorded 10 kills on the night,
along with three digs. Senior setter Hannah Taylor (Mishawaka, Ind./Jimtown
High) provided 31 assists on the night, while junior libero Emma
Donnelly (Clinton/Clinton High) added 21 digs.
