                Illinois country grain prices were 
				higher on Thursday afternoon. 
				 
              
                Basis levels continued to move 
				lower as harvest expands very slowly across the state. 
				 
              
                Export sales for soybeans were 
				strong at 2.8 million tons while corn sales were 640,000 tons. 
              
                Traders are looking toward 
				Monday's grainstocks report.
 
 				In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted 
				shelled corn bids were mostly 1 to 3 cents higher at 4.28-4.52.
				 
              
                Soybean bids were down 5 to 12 
				cents at 12.88-13.08.
 				In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn 
				bids were mixed at 4.30-4.44. 
              
                Soybean bids were 5 to 15 cents 
				lower at 12.91-13.12.
 				In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mixed 
				at 4.27-4.42.  
              
                Soybean bids were 5 to 10 cents 
				lower at 12.90-13.17. 
				 
              
                Wheat bids were 8 to 10 cents
