[September 28, 2013]      Send a link to a friend When lunch was over, Matt
Klemm of Farm Credit Services presented the Boyers with first-aid
safety kits for their farm implements and talked briefly about the
purpose of the FCS "Meals in the Field." The idea behind the program is to encourage farmers to take a break during harvest. Getting out of the combine and relaxing under a shade tree for an
hour or even 30 minutes can provide a little rest and relief from
the tedious work at hand, and has proven in the long run to make
farmers more alert when they do go back to work and safer on the
			farm.
