            		MOUNT PULASKI — Dean M. Scott, 93, of 
			Mount Pulaski, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 6:50 a.m. at 
			Vonderlieth Living Center.

							Mt. Pulaski: Dean M. Scott, 93, of Mt. Pulaski 
							passed away at 6:50 A.M. Tuesday April 15, 2014 at 
							Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. 
					
							Dean was born on February 3, 1921 in Logan County to 
							Matthew and Minnie Alma Weddle Scott. He married 
							Mary "Peggy" Downing on October 26, 1940 in Bowling 
							Green, MO. She survives him after 73 years of 
							marriage. Dean farmed for 40 years in the Mt. 
							Pulaski area and worked for Roland Machinery in 
							Springfield for 20 years. He was a member of the Mt. 
							Pulaski First United Methodist Church, the Mt. 
							Pulaski Lions Club and the Odd Fellows for over 50 
							years.

							Dean is survived by his wife, three daughters, Kathy 
							(Franklin) Richardson of Mesa, AZ, Judith (Lyndel) 
							Emrick of Mt. Pulaski, IL and Gloria (David) 
							Reynolds of Springfield, one sister Fern McKee of 
							Clyde Park, Montana, 9 grandchildren, 23 
							great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. 
							He was preceded in death by his parents, one 
							daughter Deborah Klein, six brothers and sisters and 
							three grandchildren. 
					
							Services for Dean will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday April 
							18, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Mt. 
							Pulaski with Rev. Rachel Stockle officiating. 
							Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the 
							church. Burial will follow at Mt. Pulaski Cemetery. 
							Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist 
							Church. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in 
							Mt. Pulaski, is handling arrangements.
