			"Jerry" Green, 77, of Marquette Heights passed away on Wednesday, 
			July 9, 2014 at the Symphony of Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln.

							Monday 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the 
							Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Parkview Cemetery in 
							Peoria. 
							 
							Graveside Service:
							Monday at 11 a.m.

							Obituary 
							Gerald D. "Jerry" Green, 77, of Lincoln formerly of 
							Marquette Heights passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 
							2014 at Symphony of Lincoln Nursing Home in Lincoln 
							 
							Graveside services will be held at Parkview Cemetery 
							in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum on Monday, July 14, 
							2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Craig Smith officiating. 
							Military honors will be provided by the American 
							Legion Limestone Post # 979. 
							 
							Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time 
							of service at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at 
							Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. 
							 
							Gerald Dean Green was born on August 27, 1936 in 
							Peoria the son of Wilbur M. and Bessie Ann Snider 
							Green. He married Renate Goodman on December 31, 
							1964 in Bad Tolz, Germany. She survives. 
							Also surviving are his granddaughter : Kara 
							Christine (Nathan) Israel, one grandson: Brandon 
							Usherwood both of Peoria. two brothers: Norm Green 
							and Duane (Bev) Green.

							He was preceded in death by his daughter: Diana 
							Renate Usherwood, three brothers: William Green, 
							Francis Green, Raymond Green, three sisters: Eva 
							McCollum, Jane Duncan, Donna Allsup. 
							 
							Jerry served in the United States Army for 22 years. 
							He also retired from the Postal Service in Pekin. 
							He was member of the American Legion Limestone Post 
							# 979. 
							Memorials may be made to Memorial Home Hospice 
							Service in Springfield.  
							 
							Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Quiram 
							Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
